What does 'buyer pays' actually mean for my agency?

Your buyer authorises the $25 verification at the moment they engage you, via a single Korvos-hosted link. Every dollar they pay credits against your monthly Korvos subscription. Once your subscription is fully credited for the month, no further buyer charges accrue — Korvos covers anything above the cap. The buyer never sees an additional fee or framing language; they see one charge for verification and that is it.

What happens if I do not transact much in a given month?

Your subscription continues at the rate locked when you signed up. The buyer-pays credit only offsets the subscription when verifications occur; in a quiet month you simply pay the subscription with no credit applied. Your price never changes — you stay at the rate you signed up at for as long as your subscription stays active.

Will your price go up?

Accepted Answer

Maybe — we adjust the list price for new sign-ups occasionally as the product matures. Your subscription price is locked at the rate you signed up at and will not increase for the lifetime of your continuous subscription. We don't run promotions, founding-member deals, or limited-time discounts. The price is the price. If you sign up today at $99/month and we raise the list price to $129 next year, you stay at $99 forever — for as long as you keep paying. Per-check fees ($25 KYC, $45/$90/$145 KYB) sit on the buyer-pays schedule and may change with 30 days' notice if third-party DVS or ASIC costs change — never your subscription rate.

Do I need a Stripe account to start?

No. Buyer-pays works the moment you switch it on — your buyer pays Korvos directly through a hosted link and the credit-back applies to your subscription automatically, with no setup. Linking a Stripe Connect Express account is optional: it only changes whose name appears on the buyer's tax receipt (your agency instead of Korvos). You can set that up later in Settings if you want it, and it takes around five minutes.

Is Korvos ready for AUSTRAC Tranche 2?

Yes. The full programme generator, risk-assessment recalculator, decision-card framework, AMLCO sign-off rails, ongoing monitoring, SMR auto-drafting, and TTR lodgement bundles are all built and tested for AUSTRAC Tranche 2, in force since 1 July 2026. New customers can run their first verification on day one.

When does Operator become available in my state?

Operator launches state by state because the document set differs in each jurisdiction. Queensland is the first launch in Q4 2026 (Phase C). New South Wales and Victoria are scheduled to follow in 2027 as the document and search-broker integrations land in those states. Sign in to your account and join the Operator waitlist for your state — you will be notified the day it goes live.

What about data residency?

Every Korvos-managed service runs in ap-southeast-2. Your database, identity-verification calls, LLM inference (via AWS Bedrock Sydney), file storage, and audit logs all stay in Australia. The data-residency register at /settings/data-residency lists every third-party integration with its jurisdiction, authentication mechanism, and purpose, so your privacy officer can audit the full surface in one view.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is no lock-in contract on Korvos Compliance. Cancel from /settings/billing at any time; your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period (there is no partial-month refund), and your records remain accessible for the seven-year statutory retention period required by the AML/CTF Act 2006.
